Ingredients

  • 50g pumpkin seeds

  • 50g sunflower seeds

  • 40g coconut flakes

  • 30g sesame seeds

  • 30g flaxseeds, soaked in water for 5 minutes to soften a bit

  • 2 tsp ground turmeric

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper

  • ½ tsp ground cumin

  • 1 ½ tbsp melted coconut oil

Description

I absolutely love this savoury granola. It's nutritious and full of anti-inflammatory goodness with all those seeds and turmeric. 


Sprinkle over scrambled eggs or salad for a delicious crunch.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 160° and line a baking tray with paper.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well until all seeds are coated in the spices and oil.

  3. Spread mix over baking tray and place in the oven for 20 mins, turning every 5 mins to ensure the mix cooks evenly and doesn't burn.

  4. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.

  5. Once cool, store in an airtight jar in the pantry.
